Bichon Frise Information

Physical Description:

The Bichon Frise is an all-white dog that weighs approximately 15lbs. The curly white hair is non-shedding and is usually trimmed evenly, with the hair combed out. The hair always growing so it requires frequent grooming. An ungroomed Bichon easily develops hair tangles that may need to be cut out, so daily brushing is needed.
Breed Origins: Originating in the Mediterranean region, the Bichon Frise dates all the way back to the 1300s and may have it's roots in Spain. However, the name Bichon Frise is French and translates to "curly lap dog,"
Breed Personality: Bichon Frise are outgoing and friendly and are good with children and animals.
Misc: Because of their non-shedding hair, Bichon Frise are a good choice for people with allergies.
