American Eskimo Dog Information

Physical Description:

American Eskimo Dogs are fairly small in height rarely being taller than 20 inches. The miniature version is smaller than 15 inches, sometimes as small as 11 inches.

American Eskimos are an all white dog with fur that long and thick, however they are sometimes a cream color. Their bushy tails curl up onto their back much like a siberian husky.
Breed Origins: The American Eskimo's origins goes back the Spitz family of dogs from Europe. This version of the dog came about in the early 1900s in North America.
Breed Personality: American Eskimos are bright and energetic dogs that can be very protect of its family. Some American Eskimos can be very vocal, especially when visitors arrive.
Misc: Because of their energy level, American Eskimos require daily exercise.
